To celebrate National Public Lands Day, a team of volunteers, representing the Citizens for Dixie’s Future and led by the BLM-Utah’s St. George Field Office Archaeologist Bill Banek, spent the morning removing graffiti that had been scratched into the sandstone walls along the Red Reef Trail, in the Cottonwood Canyon Wilderness, within the Red Cliffs National Conservation Area (NCA).
