    Sings of Spring: The Lewis Monkeyflower  This brightly colored flower, found in southern Idaho, is called the Lewis Monkeyflower. This species honors Meriwether Lewis, who made the first scientific collection of it in 1805 near Lemhi Pass.-Krista Berumen
