Happy 4th of July!
Today, we celebrate by kicking off our Summer Bucket List series. From now until the end of summer, we will share a daily post about a recreation, wilderness or conservation area for your “bucket list.”
Today, we bring you the Molalla River - Table Rock Recreation Area in Oregon. Just in time for the Fourth of July, the BLM Salem District in Oregon is opening two new recreation sites along the Molalla River. The completion of these new facilities represents nearly five years of planning along with collaborative work with stakeholders and youth crews in the Molalla area.
Located southeast of the city of Molalla, Oregon in the Cascade Mountains, the Molalla River-Table Rock recreation area is a popular destination for swimming, camping, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, boating and biking.
