    The Klamath Marsh National Wildlife Refuge, about 15 miles east of Crater Lake in Oregon, is home to 50% of the western U.S. Yellow Rail breeding population, and roughly 6% of Oregon’s breeding population of Greater Sandhill Crane. Many thousands of waterfowl are commonly present during migration. Another amazing feature of the marsh are the spectacular views of the Cascades to the West.
